When selecting an executive desk for your home office, consider size, function, quality, and style. Our contemporary executive office furniture comes in smaller sizes to work well in a tighter office. Choose from double pedestal, L-shaped, or a U-shaped desk with hutch. Perfect for writing or a laptop computer.
When considering the purchase of an executive home office desk, you need to evaluate the size of your room, the equipment you have and the work you do. There are many choices of executive desks from modest sized styling of a top over end panel design to larger styled executive desks like u-shaped desks with corner units. You need to be able to position your computer monitor at the right height and in the most visually convenient position. Your executive home office desk should provide the storage you require while still allowing approximately 3½ feet to navigate your office chair. If you have a larger office and plan to have reception chairs, you need to allow 3 feet around your executive desk to provide ample walking and comfortable sitting room.
If you require an executive desk with a lot of work surface, an l-shaped or u-shaped desk would provide the maximum work surface of any normal sized desk. Ordering a hutch to go on the back of your u-shaped desk is a good way to get more storage in a smaller more convenient location. If you are limited with space and/or need access to multiple doors and windows, a corner desk might also work well in your office. This is often the case when you are buying home office furniture, because clients often convert smaller bedrooms into home offices.
